Here at Yorkshiremillshops we offer a range of products and services online, from bespoke bedlinen to villas in Spain.
Our bed linen is made high up in the Pennine hills, in what was once the heart of the textile industry. Here you will find an old brick mill where the workers once started their day at 6 o'clock in the morning, before the advent of automation and high-speed machines.
Today, nothing much has changed. As you climb the old wooden stairs that leads to the top floor, you walk in the footsteps of workers long gone, to the cutting room where the present day workers still lay the fabric by hand and cut the products using shears instead of electric knives.
The mill survived the industrial revolution, the company, a member of the British Interior Textile Association and guild of master craftsmen, survived the dotcom revolution and now offer bespoke bed linens in a range of Egyptian cotton, luxury combed cotton fabric, super percale and standard polyester/cotton, all waiting to be cut and made into customers requirements, using skills passed down from generation to generation. Everything here is made to measure.

Q. DO YOU HAVE A CATALOGUE?
A. As everything is made to customer's specification, we do not have a product range to show. However, we will send you a full colour swatch and give you an indication of price.
Q. ARE THE COLOUR SWATCHES ACCURATE?
A. Shades can vary slightly from roll to roll. If the shade is critical, just ask and we will send you a cutting from a current roll.
Q. DO YOU SEND SAMPLES OF THE MATTRESS COVERS?
A. Yes, we will send cuttings of all four types, free.
Q. IF I HAVE A QUERY, CAN I SPEAK TO SOMEONE?
A. Yes, we take calls from 9 o clock in the morning, till 11 o clock at night, seven days a week.
Q. HOW DO I PAY?
A. We have a secure server online, provided by Sagepay or you can pay over the phone with your card details. If you do not have a card, a cheque is acceptable.
Q. WHAT IF I MAKE A MISTAKE WITH MY MEASUREMENTS?
A. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the dimensions of the bed are checked before ordering goods. We always confirm the order back to you by email, reminding you to double check the sizes and the colours. If something looks odd about the measurement, we query this with you also. Without your confirmation, either by phone or email, we will not start to process your order.
Q. DO YOU HAVE RETAIL OUTLETS?
A. No, we are a web based business. Everything is made at the factory and shipped direct.
Q. DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
A. Yes, we presently have customers in at least 17 countries.
Q. WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME?
A. Because all our bed linen is individually cut and made to customer's requirements, we look for around 14 working days.
Q. DO YOU HAVE EXPRESS DELIVERY?
A. If something is very urgent we can "fast track" an order providing it does not delay any other customers. We will always try our best to oblige.
Q. DO YOU SHARE OUR DETAILS WITH OTHERS?
A. No, we do not share your details with anyone. Neither do we send sales/marketing emails. Once your order is complete the next time you will hear from us is when we send you an e-card for Christmas.
